Workouts are always tailored to the individual to prevent injury. As a runner, I was worried that the intensity of crossfit would slow me down/ bulk me up. However, my times have improved. I can also do things I never thought possible when starting crossfit at 47 yrs old- rope climbs, pull-ups, and bar bell lifts.
