Josh likes Pena-coladas and getting caught in the rain… (dum dum tss) Josh is currently a student at Life University, hoping to graduate in June 2016 with a Bachelor’s degree in Health Coaching. CrossFit has been a life changing part of his life, second to his faith in God. After walking into his first gym in 2014, he knew it was what he needed to be a part of. He hopes to continue in CrossFit and grow in knowledge of movements, mobility, programming, and ultimately knowledge of how to help people live healthier. As a coach, he enjoys being able to know members from all backgrounds with all types of goals and will happily go out of his way to help them reach those goals. He’ll joke with you but also push you farther than you thought you could go.
Interview with Michelle
The spotlight today is on Coach Josh! I had the distinct pleasure of spending a few minutes with him this morning. He genuinely enjoys helping other people. It seems to be what drives him. He said when he was a kid he would bring extra Chapstick and pencils to school just in case he ran into someone in need. Love it! He was anticipating the needs of others, even as a child. This is what makes him such a good coach. He loves to see people succeed and considers himself fortunate to be part of their journey. He’s been coaching for 4 months, and is a student at Life College working toward a degree in Health Coaching. Perfect fit for him. He enjoys the Olympic Lifts and DU’s the best, and he’s working toward the ever evasive Muscle Up. Can’t wait to hear that you got one! And if I ever need a pencil, I know who to ask! Glad you are here, Josh.
