Rats! Squats were light too. 245 would have been +10. It did feel lighter than expected

BS: 275# for 1st 3 sets. 285# for last 2 sets.
Used 55# DBs in WOD and paid for it. Was not able to do all 25 reps in 5 min time period. Had 3 left and finished those after the situps.

Today was just a big FAIL for me. I think I’m still “hung over” from 13.1 on Saturday!
Back squats: 3 x 3 @ 175#, then failed the last 2 sets on the 3rd rep, both times!
WOD: Tim made me do Rx… wall balls were fine but squat clean/thrusters were awful! I got all 5 reps the first 2 rounds, then only got 3 each round after that. Then 56 sit ups.
You talk about my grunting??? Sounded like you and Katie had a tennis match going on.
Ryan is right. When I walked in at the end of your workout I was wondering what in the world all of the screaming and grunting was about.

Yeh…I tried a few before I decided to go with 40#. I couldn’t find the 45#s. Also, watching you all suffer minutes before might have influenced my decision.

Subbed #45 barbell thrusters for Wall balls
Dumbbell thrusters @ 55#. Only got 4 the last two rounds. Quads were trashed by that point. Couldn’t stand up out of the bottom of the clean with the dumbbells.
