The Following Email was sent to me today 12/12 from a woman who I introduced to CrossFit about two and half years ago. Imagine how far along she would be if she could have gotten this part back then. Find intensity, see it in others, and pray to get it in yourself. – Dr. E
I found intensity!! LOVE IT!!!!! And somehow you don’t need a heart rate monitor to figure out you’re going hard enough… the fact that you feel like you’re about to puke gives it away. hahaha. and when the workout is over you get this overwhelming feeling of “I can conquer anything”. I know you know what I’m talking about!!
This sure beats the long endurance triathlon training I was doing! That was my problem… I was monitoring my heart rate for 2 hour runs while training for a triathalon and wanted to somehow find the intensity to do CrossFit after those sissy workouts… I just couldn’t push myself to get intense b/c I was in the slow endurance mindset. So I ditched that junk and got back to the real thing. I think I can still do a triathalon while only training CFit.
Thanks again for the push. I feel like I owe you a million dollars!
You, Laura, Ansley, and Brook have a GREAT Christmas!!!!
