Hang power snatch: After a warm up work to a heavy triple in 3 sets.

Then:

50 Double unders

30 Pullups

25 KBS 1.5/1pd

25 Box jumps

30 Pushups

 

- You may not drop bar between reps of hang snatch

    Worked out 6x last week, feelin it today. Double-unders surprisingly went well, got 31 in a row at one point. Pull-ups (normally a strength) were rough.

    Stupid double unders. Spent almost 2 minutes on them. Everything else was okay except that I felt pretty winded the whole way through.

    105,125,135 hang power snatch x3. These felt pretty good. Excited by my snatch progress this year.

    WOD 9:25 DUs took over 3 minutes, pull-ups were slow, KBS unbroken, box jumps were slow.

    9:05 WOD- 3:1 singles, green band pull ups, green kb, 4×45 weight stack for BJ, & knees.

    I struggle with all of these! Again, today, thanks to all my 5:15 buds for helping push me thru the end! I would have for sure rested a bit more on the pushups if Patrick hadn’t been counting them out loud for me!

    I don’t believe I got any DU but in have whip slashes to prove that I tried. On think I need another goat day to get those freaking things!

    Used green and blue bands – it’s getting easy. What’s the next step? Just green?

    Used the gold KB

    Nailed the box jumps! Whoop whoop! Didn’t even need a person by my side for support!

    Home WOD; subbed tuck jumps for box jumps

    6:20 (about a minute slower than goal).

    DUs unbroken; PUs (usually a strength) were unbearably slow in the door-frame (hard to kip).

    PullU – started with green and moved to black half way

    24″ – stepped most of them and jumped at the end

    63# snatch, got 68 once and then did something really odd on the 2nd rep

    DU attempts, probably got 30 actual DU in.
    pull ups with blue & purple then added a 2nd purple
    KB Rx unbroken
    BJ RX
    Pushups snaked
